Ion Audio Block Rocker review
Reviews Options are limited for those who want to make an obnoxious amount of noise outdoors -- boom boxes take batteries, bullhorns are abrasive and that Marshall guitar stack doesn't travel easily. The iPod dock slapped on the top of the Block Rocker isn...

Logitech mm50 Portable Speakers for iPod review
Reviews At 325 by 102 by 38mm and 725g, the Logitech mm50 is on the hefty side for a travel speaker, but the flip-out metal legs, the built-in rechargeable battery and the included travel case redeem its portability.

Acer TravelMate 2355LCi review
Reviews The TravelMate 2355LCi's AC adaptor adds 380g to its total travel weight. If you need a laptop for travel, though, you should look elsewhere: the TravelMate 2355LCi's small battery lasted only 2 hours 1 minute in our drain tests.

Logitech Pure-Fi Mobile review
Reviews Most travel speakers can run from batteries, but the Pure-Fi goes one better because of its built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery. Like many compact travel speaker systems, the Pure-Fi Mobile isn't exactly an earth shattering performer when it...

Creative TravelDock Zen Micro review
Reviews It makes a good travel companion, too, as it measures a compact 188 by 110 by 48mm and weighs 500g. Don't expect any goosebumps from the low end, but for listening at moderate levels, this is a fine travel companion, and it's certainly pretty.

Motion LE1600 review
Reviews The tablet's AC adaptor brings the travel weight to a portable 1.78kg -- nearly half a kilogram lighter than the Stylistic ST5022's travel weight. In the world of pure-slate tablet PCs, the Motion M1400 has long been the model to beat.

Bose QuietComfort 3 review
Reviews That's a nice addition -- the battery slips out of the headphones and into a compact travel charger that fits right into a wall socket, obviating the need for annoying wires or cables. They also come with a protective carrying case that's a little...

Asus W5000 review
Reviews Although the depth of travel on the keys mean it's possible to catch your fingers on adjacent keys during fast typing, you'll only notice this if you have a very fluid typing style, where your fingers barely rise above the board during transition...

Laptops for travellers
Reviews If 11- and 12-inch laptops are still too big to fit in your Gucci travel bag, you might want to check out an ultra-mobile PC-style device. Don't expect it to run very quickly, or for very long (1.5 hours), but otherwise it's the perfect travel...

Advent 9415 review
Reviews You won't be packing light if you try to travel with the 9415. With its weight pushing 3kg, it's not exactly the perfect travel partner, especially when you consider its size and battery life. A low price tag doesn't have to mean you settle for...

Which accessories do I need?
Reviews If you rarely travel with your laptop, however, and it's pretty much always plugged in, don't bother with a second battery. To save yourself some wear and tear, invest in a small travel mouse. Docking stations come in a variety of shapes, ranging...

How do I find the right fit?
Reviews Though too big and heavy for anything but infrequent travel, these behemoths deliver the best performance and the most features available in a notebook. Generally, desktop replacements are popular with people who do not travel regularly and want...
