TomTom One XL review
Reviews TomTom is to sat-navs what Apple is to MP3 players, with the Dutch company being equally protective of its market-leading position. Powering up takes under 30 seconds and the TomTom's ability to latch on to the weakest signal, even through windows...

TomTom One Europe review
Reviews TomTom's GO 910 is one of the best sat-nav systems around, but its high price and vast feature list aren't for everyone, especially if you're new to the GPS scene. With that in mind, the company is going back to basics with its TomTom One.

TomTom GO 910 review
Reviews It requires access to the TomTom Connector and so can't be connected at the same time as an iPod. The first example was the Navman iCN 720, and TomTom continues the trend with its three latest devices: the GO 510, 710 and 910.

TomTom GO 920T review
Reviews TomTom has ripped out the internal hard drive for the 920T and replaced this with 4GB of internal storage, with an optional SD card slot. TomTom's interface also remains as good as ever, ensuring quick navigation and fast access through the menu...

TomTom GO 930 Traffic review
Reviews Available for £399 and also known as the TomTom GO 930T, the 930 Traffic introduces new technologies, but is it better than its predecessor? Plus, it features TomTom Plus services -- subscription/data charges may apply -- and packs in the same...

GPS satellite-navigation systems
Reviews Lost? Don't be. There are plenty of GPS satellite-navigation systems on the market that will get you exactly where you need to go. Forget all the horror stories -- if you're a sensible driver and you don't take everything a sat-nav says literally...

HP iPAQ hw6515 Mobile Messenger review
Reviews The built-in GPS receiver is accompanied by navigation software from TomTom, but unfortunately no maps. To obtain your single free city map, you need to log onto the TomTom Web site and download it. TomTom's navigation engine was up to its usual...

Mio DigiWalker A501 review
Reviews While Nokia has recently been muscling in on the GPS market with the N95, big names in the sat-nav world such as TomTom and Navman have shown no interest in creating phone-enabled GPS devices. Mio, however, has been brave enough to step up to the...

Garmin nuvi 760 review
Reviews It retains the previous nuvi products' ability to integrate powerful features inside an easy to use interface and is a close second to TomTom for instant routing out the box. The Garmin nuvi 760 boasts quality right through to its core.

Sony Nav-U NV-U92 review
Reviews Route display is as smooth and clear as a TomTom, with sensible colour-coding of roads. Sony was late to the GPS market, but is finally bringing its trademark style to satellite navigation, with the slimline, widescreen Nav-U NV-U92.

Nokia 6110 Navigator review
Reviews Frankly, it's easier to use, smarter and faster than any search that TomTom has come up with -- and that's saying something. Nokia blitzed the market earlier this year with the GPS-powered N95, but the 6110 is its first handset to earn the name...
