Sony Ericsson K800i review
Reviews They can be configured to application shortcuts, while a press takes you to the main menu. The joystick is surrounded by six keys -- two softmenu keys, delete, back, two absolutely tiny keys that take you to the Web browser, and the 'activity menu...

Sharp 902 review
Reviews One is a clear/back key, another provides shortcuts to five applications and the third starts the media player. That and the sensibly arranged menus, which allow you to set up shortcuts to your favourite applications, make this an easy phone to use.

Olympus C-55 Zoom review
Reviews The shortcuts are a good idea, but you still have to enter the menu system and you'll probably need to adjust the shortcuts to suit your needs -- until then, you might feel you're doing more surfing than you'd like.

Sony NW-A1200 (8GB) review
Reviews The controller, however, is no match for the iPod Click Wheel when browsing through thousands of tracks, despite some fancy shortcuts such as initial-based search (Creative's Zen Vision:M does this much better).

E-TEN Glofiish V900 review

Nokia 6680 review
Reviews This is a screen offering shortcuts to five applications and showing your upcoming calendar events as well as the two softkey-based shortcuts. It updates the lacklustre 6630, which fell down for us because it lacked a front camera for video calls...

Logitech MX610 Laser Cordless Mouse review
Reviews PC multitaskers who want navigation shortcuts in the palm of their hand will appreciate the Logitech MX610 laser cordless mouse. Though good mice, such as the Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 5000, are available for less than the MX610's £44 price...

i-mate JAMin review
Reviews Beneath the screen sits a lozenge containing Call and End buttons, a navigation pad with central 'select' button and four shortcuts. The JAMin from i-mate is based around HTC's Prophet design. It builds on i-mate's JAM range of small-format Windows...

Nokia 6124 Classic review
Reviews Despite its 51mm (2-inch) display, the screen remains vibrant and the home screen features Vodafone's customised background alongside standard Nokia shortcuts. Not everyone can justify having an expensive smart phone if they do little in the way of...

Vodafone 526 review
Reviews There are also some neat shortcuts included in the user interface. Among the usual line-up of handsets from manufacturers such as Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung and Motorola, every now and then Vodafone slips in one of its own-branded phones.

Nokia 7310 Supernova review

JVC Everio GZ-HD3 review
Reviews Ultimately, the focusing ring is a much better way to focus, but at least JVC made focus one of the shortcuts from the HD3's joystick, along with night mode, program AE and backlight compensation, so you don't have to press a menu button before...
