Sagem HD-L27 review
Reviews Sagem might not be the first manufacturer you'd think of when looking for an LCD television, because the French giant is far more famous for its stylish mobile phones. The standard board that Sagem has used can also be seen on ViewSonic's latest...

Sony Vaio NR series (VGN-NR11Z/S) review
Reviews Whether it be TVs, games consoles or in this case, laptops, people usually pay a premium for anything the Japanese manufacturer produces. If you're after a bargain laptop from a recognised and respected manufacturer, look no further.

Olympus Evolt E-300 review
Reviews In theory, all Four-Thirds cameras and lenses, regardless of manufacturer, should be compatible with each other. As with the more pro-oriented Olympus E-1, the E-300 conforms to the Four-Thirds standard for interchangeable-lens dSLRs, which in...

Buffalo LinkTheater review
Reviews It's a concept pioneered by Danish manufacturer KiSS, and now PC component manufacturer Buffalo wants a piece of the action. As the DVD player market continues to grow, manufacturers are looking to add more functionality to their disc spinners.

Nissan DV100 review
Reviews Another manufacturer to join the fray is Nissan, which is releasing this DVD player to catch the attention of people that have dabbled with DivX video. Sharing the name (but not the badge) of the famous car manufacturer, the business models are not...

PQI mPack P600 review
Reviews Neither manufacturer has nailed the interface on their product, but the bold and clear buttons on the P600 could teach Archos a thing or two about basic design. It's encouraging to see a manufacturer making such a bold style statement with its...

What else do I need?
Reviews Scour product reviews and manufacturer Web sites to determine whether any optional add-ons are available. Use only those provided by the manufacturer; even if the plug physically fits, you still need to confirm the adaptor's polarity, voltage, and...

Apple iPod Hi-Fi review
Reviews We often find with iPod accessories that the manufacturer hasn't quite matched the tone of the player itself. Our auditions seemed to bear out the manufacturer's claims. Music has always been an integral part of Apple's products, however.

Accessories and guarantees
Reviews Some manufacturer guarantees have separate time frames for the picture element -- such as the tube, which is often covered for two years -- and the rest of the TV. See the Web site of your set's manufacturer before you purchase a TV online for its...

Which features should I look for?
Reviews One final note on RAM: Some PDA models have a portion of the built-in RAM dedicated to the operating systems and other manufacturer-installed data. However, take the manufacturer's published specs with a pinch of salt; we've found many claims to be...

Sharp LC32GD1E review
Reviews LCD TVs still sit in a niche market, but already Sharp is carving itself out as the manufacturer to beat. Just as we'd recommend anyone buying an MP3 player to consider an Apple iPod, we'd do the same for Sharp's LCD TVs.
