Sony XDR-M1 review
Reviews In the Switch London group, for example, you'll find Spectrum, Virgin Groove, The Hits, BBC London, YARR, Galaxy, Kerrang! Most DAB radios are conservatively styled boxes that sit on a shelf in your kitchen or bedroom, tethered to the mains by a...

PURE Digital One review
Reviews Anyone who lives in London is unlikely to have any real difficulty tuning into a reliable signal, but even in built-up regions, with very strong digital broadcasts, the DAB signal can be lost depending on the listening situation.

What's digital radio all about?
Reviews Most areas also have one or two local multiplexes broadcasting additional stations (London has three). This enables you to listen to your favourite programmes at your convenience, or in locations where you can't get a DAB signal, such as London's...

LG 47LG7000 review
Reviews Not surprisingly for a brand heavily involved in the London Fashion Week, LG knows how to make a TV look good. LG has slightly struggled of late to emerge from the shadow of its all-conquering Korean neighbour, Samsung.

Toshiba G450 review
Reviews We managed to get around 1.6Mbps out of it in London using our test SIM. Toshiba is not a name that we'd readily associate with mobile phones, but then this handset is not really your typical mobile phone.

Intempo TRS-01 review
Reviews We used the radio in east London and the reception was pretty good for such a small set, although as with all DAB radios, you have to be more careful with the placement of the telescopic aerial than you would with a standard FM radio.

Audio Technica ATH-ANC7 headphones review
Reviews And on the noisy London Tube trains, the deep bass rumbling was reduced to a much more comfortable level. Even though noise-cancelling head gear can be found even in earphone form for about £60, there's no substitute for a good pair of full-size cans.

Onkyo T-4555 review
Reviews Autoseeking 51 DAB stations took about 15 or 20 seconds and in a London home environment -- where temperamental signal strength can be an issue -- reception was excellent. At around £300, Onkyo's T-4555 DAB/AM/FM tuner is not a cheap separate.

Intempo RDI review
Reviews You won't need to be too careful with the telescopic aerial though, because it's beefier than the most succulent piece of steak in a trendy London restaurant. The iPod doesn't have a radio, let alone DAB, so an iPod speaker system with a digital...

Hitachi TRK100DAB review
Reviews SetupWhen you first switch on the TRK100DAB, it automatically scans and tunes to the UK Band III DAB channels -- over 50 of them in London. The TRK100DAB is a radio to put in your kitchen or bathroom and have tinkling away while you make your...

Intempo BB-01 review
Reviews Like other digital radios, the list may include stations you can't receive, such as London-only broadcasters. This £90 digital radio with integrated FM tuner and CD player looks like the perfect package, with everything you need for music on the move.

Audio Technica ATH-ANC3 earphones review
Reviews Journeys on London's famously loud Underground became 10 times more pleasant with noise cancelling switched on. Audio Technica may have the answer with the active noise-cancelling ATH-ANC3 earphones. These 'phones offer the same cancellation...

V-Moda Bass Freq headphones review
Reviews During the Clash's London Calling it sounded as if we were in the studio, and Depeche Mode's Strangelove sounded fantastically deep and dark. Our ears get to hear a lot of great- (and horrible-) sounding headphones, but the style of these musical...

Sharp Aquos 32XL8E review
Reviews We picked digital as analogue is really no good to us in central London -- ghosting is especially bad here because of signal reflections from tall buildings. If you want a smart-looking TV that supports 'full HD' resolutions, includes 100hz picture...

PURE Evoke-2XT review
Reviews You won't be able to access every station, though: one of the annoying things about DAB is that unavailable stations such as London-only stations will be listed no matter where you are in the UK. PURE's first Evoke digital radio picked up a shelf...
