Microsoft Xbox 360 HD DVD drive review
Reviews It's quite amazing to think that the first real HD DVD player to officially go on sale in the UK is an add-on for a games console, and that it costs only £130, but that's what Microsoft and its partner Toshiba have managed to deliver.

Toshiba HD-E1 review
Reviews Although the Xbox HD DVD drive add-on beat it to launch by a few weeks, the HD-E1 is to all intents and purposes the UK's first HD DVD player. FeaturesThe HD-E1 is simple to set up. HD DVD has a rival in Blu-ray Disc, but this player has a couple...

Toshiba HD-EP30 review
Reviews It may only have been a 1080i player, but the Toshiba HD-E1 found a place in our hearts. The EP30 has the now trademark Toshiba HD DVD menu system. We put in our HD DVD copy of The Matrix, from our trilogy box set.

Sennheiser HD 650 review
Reviews We approached Sennheiser's top headphones, the HD 650s, with high expectations, as word of mouth for the product has been overwhelmingly positive. The headphones certainly look the part -- the HD 650s' luxurious feel, the thickly padded headband...

Sagem Axium HD-D56 review
Reviews The TV's component inputs are also HD-compatible, but Sky HD will require DVI. Either way, it's another feature on the HD-D56 that you're unlikely to find elsewhere. If you're using the television's built-in speakers, you can connect your DVD...

DVICO TViX HD M-6500A review
Reviews DVICO's TViX HD M-6500A alters our perspective slightly: it's not as cheap, but it does offer some advantages over other such devices. Apple.com's 1080p movie trailers looked fantastic, as did clips from TV shows in HD.

Toshiba HD-XE1 review
Reviews HD DVD players may be cheaper, but it's Blu-ray players that have had the upper-hand technically, thanks to their support for 1080p. The remote control for the HD-XE1 is a fantastic piece of design. With the arrival of the Toshiba HD-XE1, the...

Sagem HD-D45H review
Reviews Design The HD-D45H is big, but its frame and speakers are thin and emphasise the sheer size of the screen. The HD-D45H features an integrated Freeview tuner, but if you're a Sky subscriber and have current-generation games consoles, you'll be...

JVC HD-56ZR7J review
Reviews So on the surface at least, the rear-projection JVC HD-56ZR7J seems to have a huge amount of potential. When it's firing on all cylinders with some tasty HD source material, the D-ILA/DynaPix combination produces formidable results.

Sagem HD-L27 review
Reviews DesignThe slick black exterior of the HD-D27 divided opinion in the CNET office -- some people thought it looked classy, but the plasticky finish certainly makes it look cheaper than Sony and Toshiba's LCDs.

Sagem Axium HD-L32T review
Reviews Sagem is far better known for its mobile phones than its televisions, but last year the French company made an impressive showing with its Axium range of affordable, HD Ready rear-projection and LCD screens.

Sennheiser HD 600 headphones review
Reviews When we reviewed the Sennheiser HD 650 headphones, we rightfully called them 'fit for a king'. Thankfully, the HD s aren't the only model in Sennheiser's high-end audiophile line. For around £150, the Sennheiser HD 600s substitute a grey and black...

ATI Radeon HD 3850 review
Reviews ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT ATI's new 256MB Radeon HD 3850 graphics card is the best-performing 3D card in its price class. ATI Radeon HD 3850 For a single Radeon HD 3850, then, PCI Express 2.0 support probably doesn't make a difference.
