Philips AJL308 digital clock and photo frame review
Reviews What makes it tough is that on one level the idea of combining a clock radio with a digital photo frame is a really cool concept -- and in many ways the AJL308 succeeds. If you can find it at a bargain price (£85 or less), it certainly makes a...

Terratec Cinergy T2 review
Reviews From here, the functionality really becomes interesting, because your PC lets you watch, pause and record both digital television and radio. If you have a decent set of Logitech or Creative Labs speakers, then you can really appreciate the detail...

MP3 players with radio
Reviews Having both an FM and DAB radio is really handy when you're on the move, since DAB, being digital, can be patchy when the signal drops even for just a second. The built-in FM radio and general ease-of-use makes this a great choice for anyone new to...

Thomson DHD4000 review
Reviews The box can also buffer and record digital radio too, something of a rarity for these recorders. It's these little features, and the ability to record radio, that make the Thomson DHD4000 not only a fantastically designed piece of consumer...

Freeplay Devo review
Reviews This goes some way to explaining why the FM radio will reward 60 seconds of winding with an hour of radio, while the DAB tuner, with its power-guzzling LCD and digital-analogue conversion circuitry, will only give a paltry 3-5 minutes of play for...

Humax PVR-8000T (80GB) review
Reviews You might choose to use it if you're listening to a lot of digital radio, however, as the services available through Freeview are much better than those on DAB radio. You might as well use the stereo audio output if you're connecting to a receiver...

Sagem PVR 7280T review
Reviews True, none of the Freeview stations support 5.1 audio yet, but if you're a digital radio lover, it will be worthwhile making the effort to use the high-quality audio connection. On the audio front, the digital output means that all Freeview...

Tangent Cinque review
Reviews You can pick up a DAB radio for very little these days. The result is fine for pop and talk radio but it's not going to replace your hi-fi. You've also got 12 separate presets for FM radio, should DAB not excite you.

Philips 26PF5520D review
Reviews The speakers can reach a loud volume without distortion, making them acceptable for Freeview music channels and digital radio. The same is true for radio channels. Like a standalone Freeview tuner, the TV itself also has a digital audio output so...

LG HT762TZ review
Reviews FeaturesThe LG has a built-in radio and we can see this being less relevant with digital TV, which has a good selection of radio stations already. Those stations are over-compressed and FM still has its charms, so the radio may be of some use.

PURE Digital Evoke-3 review
Reviews Once we'd extended the telescopic aerial on the back of the radio, the Evoke-3 automatically sought out all available DAB broadcasts and listed them. You also have the option of recording songs or entire radio programmes to an SD-card.
