Toshiba Tecra A5 review
Reviews It offers a fairly light though largely nondescript case, lots of unremarkable components, such as a Celeron M processor and a DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive, average performance and battery life, and a decent price of £660.

Which types of drives do I need?
Reviews For watching movies and playing monster games on the road, consider a CD-RW drive that doubles as a DVD drive. For instance, you can pull out the DVD-ROM drive and swap in a combo DVD/CD-RW drive or even a second battery on many notebooks.

Find the specs that are just right
Reviews CD burner and -- in many cases -- a DVD-recordable drive inch CRT or 15- or 17-inch LCD piece or 2.1 speaker set If you plan to transfer and edit home movies, you'll also need a massive hard drive, a FireWire port and a DVD burner.

Moore Medio review
Reviews Evesham -- Moore hasn't used a slot-loading CD/DVD drive. You'll need to clear a lot of shelf space in your living room to store the Medio -- we easily stacked four DVD players in the same amount of space the Medio occupies.
