Olympus Evolt E-330 camera kit review
Reviews This is understandable since the camera has two sensors and an LCD to initialise, unlike other models. The controls follow the layout we typically see in dSLRsA variety of direct controls populate the back of the camera, including an autofocus...

What else can my digital camera do?
Reviews While none of them will produce the quality of a dedicated video camera, some are substantially better than others. The best video-clip quality currently available from a digital still camera is 30fps VGA (640 x 480-pixel) resolution with sound.

Best 5-megapixel camera phones

3-megapixel camera phones
Reviews The latest camera phones to come out in the UK feature 3-megapixel cameras -- a far cry from the original VGA ones, they are a definite step closer to competing with standalone digital cameras. Before you think that all 3-megapixel camera phones...

Which kind of digital camera is best for me?
Reviews I have to share the camera with my colleagues. I'd like a digital camera that is easy enough for the whole family to use and small enough to take anywhere. I want a camera that will satisfy me for a few years.

Camera phones for casual snapshots
Reviews If the phone you're looking at doesn't have a camera, either it's a business phone for use in offices where cameras are verboten or you're shopping in the bargain basement. Once you've ruled out phones from those groupings, the big question is: how...

BenQ-Siemens S68 review
Reviews There's no camera, just a smooth surface with a small embossed BenQ-Siemens logo at the top. While there's no camera or expandable memory slot, BenQ-Siemens has got the balance right between a compact design and a simple interface.

Nikon Coolpix L3 review
Reviews The 5-megapixel camera sports a 3x optical zoom lens, a handful of useful scene modes and a small price tag. It's not the fastest, sharpest or sleekest digital camera on the market, but this little shooter produces good-looking images for the price.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S700 review
Reviews Given the budget Cyber-shot DSC-S700's position at the rock-bottom of Sony's 2007 camera line, all you should really expect from it is the ability to take usable photos with minimal fuss. ConclusionIn the highly competitive low-end camera market...

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H10 review
Reviews It's not a bird or a plane, but another superzoom camera from Sony. It seems to be that the camera doesn't have a controllable aperture at all; according to the manual, it sounds like it just toggles a neutral density filter to decrease exposure...

Samsung L74 Wide review
Reviews When you think about camera lenses, 'zoom' is probably the first word that comes to mind. Lots of camera manufacturers focus on giving their cameras the longest zoom lenses available, but while 5x, 10x, and 12x lenses are all handy for getting up...

Sanyo VPC-C4 review
Reviews What's the ideal digital camera? You can also purchase the camera with a gold, blue or orange case. No one expects a tiny camera to outperform a large semi-pro SLR, but you also don't want to be embarrassed by its output.

Samsung Digimax i5 preview
Reviews Move over, Fujifilm FinePix Z1: it looks like there's another passenger on the sub-25mm-thick, internal-zooming, ultracompact digital camera bandwagon. But despite its small size, the camera packs what appears to be an impressive array of point-and...
