Pentax Optio SV review
Reviews A 5x optical zoom lens, excellent macro capabilities, and a burst mode that doesn't know when to stop differentiate the otherwise average Pentax Optio SV from the proliferation of 5-megapixel snapshot cameras.

Kodak EasyShare Z740 review
Reviews A 10x zoom lens, manual exposure controls, 5-megapixel resolution, a versatile burst-shooting mode and an electronic viewfinder that works as well in blazing sunlight as in murky interiors -- there are certainly aspects of the Kodak EasyShare Z740...

Toshiba Regza 52Z3030D review
Reviews Toshiba would like to burst this bubble, as it doesn't make plasma TVs. The assassination of Dryden looked as gritty as it should, with lots of film noise, and the opening titles burst with colour, smooth motion and a total absence of grain or noise.

Kodak EasyShare LS743 review
Reviews You'll also find the burst mode and self-timer there. While its zoom range is limited to 2.8x, close focusing, a good burst mode, and extralong battery life make this a versatile camera, especially for photographers whose enthusiasm for picture...

Kodak EasyShare Z7590 review
Reviews It provides separate buttons for flash options and macro mode, and a single key cycles between exposure bracketing and two kinds of burst modes. Still, niceties such as an action-ready burst mode and a standard PC (Prontor-Compur, not personal...

Casio Exilim Card EX-S100 review
Reviews This camera lacks a burst mode and the optical viewfinder that would be handy in bright sunlight. If you have a limber trigger finger, the fast shot-to-shot times almost make up for the camera's complete lack of a burst mode.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX1 review
Reviews The back panel also includes an autoexposure/autofocus lock button, a display info key that toggles the LCD between normal and power-saving brightness modes, and a trash button that cycles among the three burst modes.

Kodak EasyShare Z612 review
Reviews Furthermore, the three buttons lined up behind the shutter -- flash, macro and self-timer/burst -- are the identical size and shape, making them difficult to tell apart by touch. Burst mode yielded 8 frames in 3.3 seconds for an average of 2.4fps...

Canon Digital IXUS 50 review
Reviews While we faulted the IXUS 40 for its average image quality, we were impressed by the performance, unrelenting burst capabilities and great battery life that are equally evident in this upgrade. You press up to switch between spot, centre-weighted...

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S40 review
Reviews Its Burst mode grabs four high-resolution shots in 2.6 seconds. The Burst and Multi-Burst timings were identical to the DSC-S90's at 1.54fps and 32fps, respectively. The Multi-Burst mode grabs 16 shots in 0.5 seconds.

Kodak EasyShare Z700 review
Reviews Welcome touches such as dioptre correction for the viewfinder, Kodak's one-touch sharing and printing features, and a burst mode that saves the five shots captured before you take your finger off the shutter release make the Z700 a good value for...

Samsung Digimax L85 review
Reviews As long as you don't mind its propensity for fringing on edges and the lack of a fast burst mode, you'll find the Samsung Digimax L85 a versatile, quality shooter. The real disappointment was burst mode, shooting 25 full-resolution shots in...

Canon Digital IXUS 85 IS review
Reviews Canon is the only maker to routinely still put optical viewfinders on its cameras and this one is a beaut: small but perfectly sharp and a real benefit if you're shooting in very dark conditions or a burst of continuous shots -- when screens are...

Fujifilm FinePix S9500 Zoom review
Reviews Although burst mode captures only 4 frames, you can either capture the first 4 frames after you press the shutter button, or you can hold down the release for up to 40 frames, saving only the last 4 to your memory card.
