Nokia N71 review
Reviews Between then and now we've seen a couple of sliders and numerous examples of Nokia's favourite shape -- the candy-bar. The camera itself has plenty of settings, which you can mostly access by flicking through a horizontally scrolling menu bar that...

Nokia 7280 review
Reviews Although it's barely bigger than a Mars bar, it gives you voice dialling and a speakerphone, infrared and Bluetooth, MMS and GPRS, a VGA camera and an FM radio. This brings up a character bar across the bottom of the screen.

Humax LGB-22DYT review
Reviews It's simply taken the speakers out of the 22DYT's bezel and shoved them into a more or less separate 'speaker bar' that runs along beneath the screen. While it might sound great, the 22DYT's speaker bar looks ugly.

Toshiba Portege G500 review
Reviews Nokia N80 users might not notice any difference in their pockets, but most other people will -- it's like carrying around a big bar of soap. The G500, however, is slightly more high-tech than a bar of soap.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS5 review
Reviews As on Casio compacts, shooting options are on a handy on-screen menu bar. The matte silver metal frame and chrome accents give it a slick look, although we're not keen on the silver bar at the front. In an increasingly packed compact camera market...

Motorola Razr V3x review
Reviews At least all bar the camera button are inactive when the clamshell is closed. The finish on the front of the casing of our review model from 3 had a similar black, smooth feel to that on the bar-of-soap-like Pebl, but we also had a V3x from...

Asus R2H Ultra-Mobile PC review
Reviews For example, the bottom row of keys, which includes the space bar, is quarter height, while the space bar itself is split in two by the hinged section of the keyboard and quite difficult to hit; the remaining non-Qwerty keys are generally small in...

Motorola E1000 review
Reviews The second is entirely practical: it means the numberpad keys can be large, making them easier to hit than is often the case on a candy-bar phone. We did a fair amount of 3G-ing of various types during a 24-hour test period and drove the battery...

Fujifilm FinePix F440 review
Reviews Fuji eschews the common disk-shaped cursor pad in favour of a horizontal bar that shifts up and down, flanked by two smaller side-to-side buttons. The bar also controls the zoom and is actually easier to use than most zoom-rocker switches.
