Gizmondo Europe Gizmondo review
Reviews The service is still yet to be set up, but the promise is that you'll get context-sensitive advertising (ie for products that should interest you). The GPS functionality may be tied in with this advertising.

Canon Digital IXUS 85 IS review
Reviews For all the achingly hip advertising froth surrounding the IXUS range of stylish compacts, the Canon Digital IXUS 85 IS has a curiously old-fashioned feel to it, emphasising build and image quality and ease of use.

Samsung NV100HD review review
Reviews When your local pub starts advertising 'Credit Crunch Lunches' (it's true! you know times are hard. But maybe you're not quite ready to give up on life's little luxuries just yet? Maybe you still hanker after a state-of-the-art metal-bodied 14.7...

HP W2007v review
Reviews Marketing hyperbole aside, this meant redesigning its laptops with a more consumer-friendly look and flogging them with a huge advertising campaign. Last year, HP 'made the computer personal again'. This design strategy has now spilled over into HP...

Nokia 7280 review
Reviews Only the Nokia label on the side and the relentless advertising make it recognisable as a mobile phone. From the intermittent red glow at the top to the matching red-and-black wrist strap at the bottom, the Nokia 7280 is a strange but stylish beast.

Roberts Gemini 19 review
Reviews This is the first time we've seen specific station branding on a Roberts radio (although we have seen an XFM DAB radio from another manufacturer) and it makes you wonder how many other branded buttons these things will take before they become...

Siemens CL75 Poppy review
Reviews It is entirely true, as the advertising claims, that if you use the dedicated button on the handset, you can turn the main screen off and use it as a mirror. There's an important clue about the CL75 Poppy in its name.

Asus Lamborghini VX1 review
Reviews This isn't such a bad thing, but the effect is spoiled by a row of stickers advertising the quality of the laptop's TFT panel and its interior components. PC fans commonly liken the speed of their computers to that of high-performance cars.

Fujifilm FinePix Z10fd review
Reviews With blogging and multimedia sharing being the thrust of the Z10fd advertising, it's disappointing that the only options for picture size are standard (640x480 pixels) or small (320x240 pixels). The Fujifilm FinePix Z10fd is a fairly basic 7.2...

Dell Inspiron Mini 9 review
Reviews The system fully boots from a cold start in about 45 seconds, and thankfully, the desktop is not overly cluttered with advertising and promo links -- just a few icons for Dell's Support Center app and an online storage service (2GB of free online...

Fujitsu P42HTS40 review
Reviews The main unit itself is very simply designed, with two logos -- one for Fujitsu itself, and one on the corner advertising its Advanced Video Movement II (AVMII) technology. Like NEC, Fujitsu has traditionally counted on the upper end of the plasma...

BT Vision review
Reviews None of the content has advertising embedded, and we encountered no problems with stuttering. To get BT Vision, you have to be a BT broadband customer and have a BT Home Hub, which comes free with most BT packages.
