Philips DA1000 review
Reviews As is the norm with most pocket DAB radios, there are five buttons on the front: DAB/FM, Menu, Preset and Info, and at the centre sits a well designed toggle that both navigates the menus and controls the volume and stations.

PURE Digital Chronos II review
Reviews It takes about a minute for the system to automatically seek and store available DAB stations, but this only needs doing once. Stations are sorted in alphabetical order and can be browsed easily -- Grandma will be pleased.

PURE Digital DRX-702ES review
Reviews At the other end of the scale you'll find stations broadcasting as low as 80Kbps. PerformanceThe PURE Digital DRX-702ES sounds clear and rich with the mainstream DAB stations. We've previously been impressed by their efforts at smaller kitchen-type...

Terratec Noxon 2 Audio review
Reviews The Noxon 2 Audio can access around 2,500 radio stations. The device supports very high quality Internet audio encoded at up to 320Kbps, but audio quality depends very much on individual stations. Our other gripe is the fact that it can take...

Denon TU-1800DAB review
Reviews Though their efforts are often impressive, the source medium -- high-frequency airwaves shared by multiple stations -- don't lend themselves well to the transmission of complex, dynamic music. Nonetheless, the range of stations on offer and quality...

Tangent Cinque review
Reviews DAB is the other function on offer here, with up to 12 stations saveable as presets. Browsing through DAB stations, however, is as easy as turning a knob and the system will autotune all the DAB stations it can find.

Onkyo T-4555 review
Reviews Autoseeking 51 DAB stations took about 15 or 20 seconds and in a London home environment -- where temperamental signal strength can be an issue -- reception was excellent. Minor signal dropouts were noticeable on one or two stations due to weak...

Sony XDR-M1 review
Reviews Within the ensemble the stations come up in a standard but meaningless sequence. We much prefer radios that list the stations alphabetically. To reduce the confusion, you can copy up to 20 stations to the Favourites list.
