Toshiba Satellite P200-17C review
Reviews The Toshiba Satellite P200-17C is certainly built with entertainment in mind -- from its large 17-inch widescreen display to booming Harman Kardon speakers. The built-in Harman Kardon speakers are pretty good by laptop standards, so you can pump up...

Samsung SyncMaster 940UX review
Reviews The SyncMaster 940UX doesn't have HDCP support or built-in speakers, and the screen doesn't even pivot. You won't find built-in speakers, The Samsung SyncMaster 940UX is a plain-looking 19-inch LCD monitor with a standard 4:3 ratio screen.

Intempo KTC-01 review
Reviews It seems that Intempo has taken a retrograde step from its original offering the PG-01: the KTC-01 feels more like a lunchbox with speakers than a DAB radio. A screen and the controls run across the top of the face, with two speakers underneath.

Samsung HT-X200 review
Reviews Samsung's HT-X200 is a one box solution for people who want a home cinema setup without having to spend an entire weekend setting up speakers and running cables around a room. Given that this is a 2.1 system -- stereo speakers, plus a passive...

Onkyo TX-SR576 review
Reviews It's available now for around £270, but of course you'll have to add speakers to that. There really isn't any point in spending thousands on your screen and using the built-in speakers: you just won't get the best out of films.

Sharp Aquos LC-15L1E review
Reviews The first so-called wireless TV, the Sharp Aquos LC-15L1E looks much like a standard 15-inch LCD flat panel, complete with a stand and built-in speakers. We found the little TV's styling funky, to say the least; just about everyone in the office...

From iPod to living room
Reviews For excellent tone and accuracy in a compact and elegant package, we remain fond of the Eclipse TD 307PA system, which combines two egg-shaped speakers with a conical amp. If you don't have a hi-fi, the Sonos ZP100 ZonePlayer (reviewed as part of...

Yamaha YSP-1100 review
Reviews We've seen many designs for virtual speaker systems, and most televisions come with technology that claims to be able to produce surround sound virtually using built-in speakers. We've yet to find one that actually manages this convincingly, but...

PURE Evoke-2XT review
Reviews The bright blue LCD display is mounted between the stereo speakers, with three control knobs -- volume, tone and tuning -- and 12 buttons arranged underneath. It's better looking than before, boasts better speakers and includes a feature called...

Tannoy i30 review
Reviews Tannoy's WWII-era PA systems are so famous that many people aren't aware it's a brand name, but the British company has been making high-end speakers for many years. It really is a stunning set of iPod speakers, and the best alternative to the more...

Pioneer PDP-5000EX review
Reviews Part of the reason for the good looks is a total lack of speakers -- there are, however, standard spring-clip terminals around the back so you can connect up your own. It's actually a display, meaning that it doesn't come with home comforts like TV...

Scandyna Podspeakers and dock review
Reviews Today, we're going to take a look at three weird and wonderful products at once: an iPod dock, known simply as 'the dock'; the Micropod SEs, a pair of mini speakers; and the Minibass, a stylish subwoofer for use with the aforementioned units.

Philips WACS700 review
Reviews Both include built-in speakers (of a strange flat-panel design), but only the base unit can rip CDs to a 40GB internal hard disk. The unit's incredible weight (nearly 12kg) is down to the internal amplifier and speakers.

Gear4 Duo review
Reviews The front speakers are held in place by two grooves at their base, and magnets at the top, meaning it slips in and out of place without clips or wires. Not true for Gear4's Duo, though -- this two-part iPod speaker system is designed to work both...

Onkyo LS-V501 review
Reviews At the rear, there are four speaker bindings for connecting the left and right speakers -- bass output is handled by a separate RCA jack output. It's a 2.1 DVD system, which includes a DVD player, stereo speakers and a subwoofer.
