Nokia 7310 Supernova review
Reviews What you do get, though, is an easy-to-understand menu system that keeps things simple, while offering added functionality such as being able to display shortcuts on the start page. If you grew up during the early 90s you'll remember that certain...

JVC Everio GZ-HD3 review
Reviews Ultimately, the focusing ring is a much better way to focus, but at least JVC made focus one of the shortcuts from the HD3's joystick, along with night mode, program AE and backlight compensation, so you don't have to press a menu button before...

Asus V1J review
Reviews Anyone who likes to use keyboard shortcuts (typically a combination of the Ctrl key plus another key) will automatically reach for the Ctrl button at the bottom leftmost corner. The V1J is part of Asus' security-oriented laptop series.

Nokia 6230 review
Reviews Navigation buttons consist of a five-way toggle and two soft keys with shortcuts to a variety of user-defined functions. Nokia's 6230 isn't pretty or particularly well designed, but it's stuffed to the gills with useful features.

Alienware Area-51 m5550 review
Reviews Users of keyboard shortcuts should note that Alienware has jettisoned the right-side control key to free up space. Unlike its higher-end sibling, the Aurora mALX, the silver-and-black Alienware Area-51 m5550 has a subdued look that might blend in...

Siemens S65 review
Reviews Navigating through the animated menus is a breeze, and shortcuts are allowed to user-defined functions. Given its impressive line of attractive, strong-performing handsets, it's hard to believe that Siemens isn't a huge name in mobile phones.

i-mate JAM review
Reviews The hardware design is very much in the Windows Mobile Phone Edition mould, with call and end buttons sitting beneath the screen, accompanied by a navigation button with a nested enter key, plus shortcuts to the built-in calendar and contacts...

Medion GoPal P4425 review
Reviews It displays your map on the right, while placing shortcuts and a large directional arrow -- with countdown markers to the next turn -- on the left of the screen. We took the £250 Medion GoPal P4425 for a test drive to see if its sat-nav performance...

OQO model 2 review
Reviews Keyboard shortcuts that involve holding the Shift, Alt, Ctrl or Fn buttons are easy to invoke. Ultra-mobile PCs get a bad rap -- but for good reason. The Samsung Q1, Asus R2H, and Sony Vaio UX1XN are all clever in their own right, but each has...

Fujitsu Siemens Pocket LOOX T830 review
Reviews On its left and right are a pair of rockers whose top sections are the softmenu keys and whose bottom sections are shortcuts to the Windows Mobile messaging and calendar software. You get the feeling the designers of the Pocket LOOX T830 asked...

Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 review
Reviews With the F Lock off they execute a number of shortcuts, including undo/redo, save, print and reply/forward/send for email programs. Computer keyboards are like mattresses -- you don't know how bad yours is until you try a good one.

Nokia 5140 review
Reviews A five-way toggle provides shortcuts to four user-defined functions, but its small size also makes for some misdials. It is believed that only three things will survive a nuclear war: Volvos, cockroaches, and tins of baked beans.
