PURE Evoke-2XT review
Reviews You won't be able to access every station, though: one of the annoying things about DAB is that unavailable stations such as London-only stations will be listed no matter where you are in the UK. PURE's first Evoke digital radio picked up a shelf...

Samsung YP-K5 (2GB) review
Reviews It may well find its natural home with the hoodied wannabe gangstas of London's faux-ghettos, but it deserves more. The K5 is instantly recognisable because of its built-in speakers, a feature that may inform your decision to buy.

Canon Digital IXUS 970 IS review
Reviews The 970's continuous perfomance took us by surprise with the sort of endurance usually seen on the day of the London Marathon. Still, we can't argue with Canon performance, even if it does come wrapped in such a quirky, old-fashioned package as the...

Denon D-M35DAB review
Reviews Denon is obviously looking to the future here, because at the time of writing it's only possible to pick up 52 stations in London. Denon's sixth-generation mini hi-fi doesn't fail to deliver on the promise of its predecessor, the D-M31.

Sagem PVR6280T review
Reviews Despite being in central London, our building seems to act as one giant signal deflector. But as more and more people warm to the idea of hard drive recording, the willingness to buy into a Sky+-style recording system has resulted in Sagem's PVR6280T.

Alienware Aurora 7500 SLI review
Reviews This PC is heavy, but it's not unwieldy -- we managed to cart it across London in a taxi for a party. Hell hath no fury like an Alienware plugged-in. This company is well known for its high-octane gaming machines, so we expected something special...

Samsung YH-820 review
Reviews We took the Samsung YH-820 to a BMX track in London and caught some scary amounts of air off a set of jumps. Impressively, the Samsung YH-820 is smaller than the iPod Mini and weighs in at a mere 85g.

Denon TU-1800DAB review
Reviews In our London labs we were extremely happy with reception once we'd picked a good position for the aerial, but unlike analogue radio, you won't be greeted by static in areas of bad reception -- instead, you'll hear almost nothing at all.

Samsung Z560 review
Reviews There's also a really useful Tube map application that shows you maps of the underground networks in London, Paris, Milan and Berlin. On the outside it looks like a standard clamshell phone but on the inside beats the heart of a high-speed Internet...

Yamaha CRX-M170 review
Reviews In London we could receive over 100 DAB stations on the CRX-M170. The Yamaha brand has never enjoyed the elite status of Linn or Arcam, but the company has forged itself a good reputation for home-cinema equipment -- Yamaha surround amplifiers are...

PURE Digital DMX-50 review
Reviews Anyone who lives in London is unlikely to have many problems tuning into a reliable signal, but even in built-up regions, with very strong digital broadcasts, the DAB signal can be lost depending on the listening situation.

Navman iCN 720 review
Reviews One of our destination streets in Ashtead, Surrey, was, the software was convinced, not in Ashtead at all, but in Leatherhead; another in Walworth, South London, was designated by the software as being in Camberwell.

Roberts Rambler RD-76 review
Reviews We didn't have any problems with the RD-76 in our London-based tests. As a big player in radio for several decades, the company is lucky enough to own the rights to an impressive reservoir of classic chassis designs.

Sony NW-S703F review
Reviews For example, on a noisy Tube journey in central London with the noise cancelling turned off, we were still able to hear the rattle of the train with the volume at around the halfway mark. It's the first flash-based model to feature built-in noise...

Eclipse TD307PAII review
Reviews If, however, you're just looking to hook up a set of speakers powerful enough to instantly turn ice cubes back into water, you should look elsewhere -- these speakers should be reserved for the audio purists when they're mixing in their small...
