Reviews Dell manages to get more than 3 hours out of the Mini 9's 4-cell battery, while netbooks with 6-cell batteries, including the Asus Eee PC 1000, lasted for more than 5 hours. Unfortunately, the battery lasted about as long as other 3-cell netbooks...

Dell Inspiron Mini 9 review
Reviews The Mini 9 ran for 3 hours and 21 minutes on our video playback battery drain test, using the included four-cell battery. That's second only to the six-cell battery in the Asus Eee PC 901, and easily beats the Asus Aspire One and MSI Wind.

Acer TravelMate 6592 review
Reviews Acer says the standard six-cell battery will deliver 2.5 hours of life. Alternatively, an eight-cell main battery pack will deliver a claimed 4 hours' life with another 2 hours available from a second battery in the media bay.

Asus U2E review
Reviews Other things you might need to know about include a 2-year global warranty, a carry case, 3- and 6-cell batteries, a wireless Bluetooth mouse, and a copy of Windows Vista Home Premium. We put this down to it using 3-cell battery, which doesn't hold...

HP Mini 1000 review
Reviews We were concerned about the system's battery life, since it only has a three-cell battery. Other three-cell netbooks, including the Lenovo Ideapad S10, ran for only about 2 hours on our video playback battery drain test.

Panasonic SDRS100 review
Reviews The SDRS100's battery is housed in an internal compartment that's covered by a door, which means that you can't snap a larger, higher-capacity cell on as you can with a camcorder that has an external battery well.

Sony PlayStation 3 (80GB) review
Reviews Even worse, the PS3 didn't initially have any must-have exclusive titles, and despite the power of its vaunted Cell processor, multiplatform games from third-party developers didn't look appreciably better than they did on the Xbox 360.
