Do I need to pay more than £30 for earphones?
Digital Living The bundled, or 'stock', earphones given free with MP3 players -- even expensive models such as the iPod classic or iRiver clix -- are almost always very poor performers. I've seen earphones cost from about £20 to £500.

Can compact cameras zoom during video?
Digital Living We still love the legendary crash zoom that introduced John Wayne in John Ford's classic western Stagecoach (1939). My digital compact camera has video, but it won't zoom during filming -- very annoying!
