Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pi 3540 review
Reviews The headphone port even doubles as a digital S/PDIF jack so you can output a surround-sound signal to a set of compatible external speakers. If there's one thing we've noticed, it's that PC manufacturers have an unhealthy affinity to pandas.

Sony Bravia KDL-40W4000 review
Reviews At the bottom of the TV are the speakers, concealed in a diminutive housing that suggests they might not be very powerful -- in fact, they're very good. It's heartening to see speakers on the front of a TV, as too many companies try to conceal them...

Sony Bravia KDL-40X3500 review
Reviews The X3500 is also unusual these days in having a decent set of quite powerful speakers on each side. With an external receiver, you can opt to mute the TV speakers, and then the TV remote will control the AV receiver.

Fatman iTube 452 review
Reviews To the rear are superb, heavy-duty wire terminals, with impedance outputs of 4 Ohms or 8 Ohms to assist power matching with speakers. Comparing valve-based amps to transistor-based amp is like comparing vinyl to the compact disc -- both have their...

Onkyo TX-SR576 review
Reviews It's available now for around £270, but of course you'll have to add speakers to that. There really isn't any point in spending thousands on your screen and using the built-in speakers: you just won't get the best out of films.

LG DP391B review
Reviews Well, the sound from the built-in speakers is weedy and pathetic, which might be an issue if you want to share viewing with another person. Life can be a little boring sometimes. Generally it's most tedious when you're sitting on a delayed train...

Logitech Pure-Fi Dream review
Reviews It's a great little performer, and should be listened to by manufacturers that want a benchmark for their new £100+ iPod speakers. It's not intended to be used simply as an iPod-compatible alarm clock, though, but as a room-filling audio system...

Klipsch Custom-2 sound-isolating earphones review
Reviews What this means to the layman is that two tiny speakers inside each earpiece are driving sound into your ears. We recently looked at the highest-end model in the Klipsch Custom series -- the Custom-3s.

Philips Cineos 42PFL9703 review
Reviews It allows the speakers to be largely invisible, and lower-frequency sound comes from woofers facing out of the back of the TV. Philips clearly believes in the technology too, and has continued to develop it with products such as Aurea taking...

Samsung F400 review
Reviews Slide the screen down to reveal the B&O speakers Behind this distinctly average screen, aside from the cute speakers, is a microSD slot for expanding the 20MB of internal memory up to 2GB. This is partly to do with the integrated Bang & Olufsen...

Logitech Pure-Fi Mobile review
Reviews The front has a slick piano black finish, while the four mini speakers are circled by a neat aluminium trim. Most travel speakers can run from batteries, but the Pure-Fi goes one better because of its built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery.

Toshiba SD-P91S review
Reviews When it came to sound, we weren't very impressed by the built-in speakers. That may make it appealing to people who want an all-in-one video and music system that they can plug a set of external speakers into wherever they go.

HTC Advantage X7510 review
Reviews Apart from the impressive 16GB of storage, miniSD card expansion and multimedia touches -- stereo speakers/3.5mm headphone jack -- the X7510's biggest improvement lies with its keyboard. The HTC Advantage X7510 smart phone adds Windows Mobile 6.1...

Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook P8010 review
Reviews Just above the keyboard is a glossy strip of buttons, lights and speakers. The strip is also home to the power button, an illuminated 'LifeBook' logo and a set of speakers. With tiny, cheap netbooks the new flavour of the month, it's difficult to...

Pioneer Kuro PDP-LX6090 review
Reviews That said, the optional side-mounted speakers are very good, offering a very balanced sound. In a slightly cheeky move, the TV's speakers are an optional extra. There's absolutely no point spending £4,300 on a TV and bolting on some cheap speakers.
