HP Deskjet D1660 review

Despite costing the same as a generous round of drinks, the tiny, no-frills Deskjet D1660 colour inkjet printer produces excellent text results and handles simple graphics well. Its photo prints aren't up to the quality of its text output, but they're not bad either, and you can't expect too much at this price

Canon Pixma MP560 review

The Pixma MP560 multi-function inkjet printer offers plenty of features to keep the more demanding home user satisfied, and doesn't compromise on output quality either. With an attractive design and low price tag, the only real gripe we have is that it's not the fastest machine in the world

HP Pavilion dv3-2230ea preview

The 13.3-inch Pavilion dv3-2230ea entertainment laptop could probably do with a more powerful GPU, but it compensates for this with a feature that, for the moment, makes it unique: its multi-touch display. It's also relatively portable and should prove a solid performer, offering decent value for money overall

Sony Vaio CW series (VPCCW1S1E) review

The 14-inch Vaio VPCCW1S1E is an excellent entertainment laptop. It looks stylish, its screen handles movies well, and, as usual with Sony machines, its keyboard is very good. It's no slouch in the performance stakes either, offering enough power to satisfy all but the most demanding gamer

HP Photosmart Premium C309g review

The touchscreen display is genuinely useful, its wireless-networking support is excellent, and it offers good all-round performance

Sony Vaio Mini W series (VPCW11S1E) review

The 10.1-inch Vaio Mini W series VPCW11S1E offers typical netbook performance for a relatively lofty price. But it also offers the excellent construction and design that's typical of Sony, as well as a 1,366x768-pixel, high-definition display. Overall, it's an attractive package

Lexmark X7675 review

The X7675 all-in-one printer is slower than other multi-function printers and suffers from a few design flaws. But these problems are adequately compensated for by its straightforward operation, painless Wi-Fi set-up and excellent output quality. It's one of our favourite devices of its kind

HP Compaq 6735s review

Its full-size keyboard is comfortable to type on, the matte finish on the screen means it's legible in all lighting conditions, and it's a capable performer too

Chief among these are an optional touchscreen and thick, rugged shell

Brother MFC-5890CN review

The MFC-5890CN all-in-one printer, scanner, fax and copier may well appeal to those who appreciate a retro design, and its large, 84mm, colour LCD screen is a definite bonus. Print quality could be better but its scanning, copying and fax features work well and it packs in a fair amount of features
