Q&A: Is Nokia Comes With Music a good deal?
Crave As for changing PCs or re-installing the service on your PC, you will be able to change PCs and reinstall the software, but only a certain number of times. Comes With Music (CWM) is a music service provided by Nokia that combines an iTunes-style PC...

Intel Core i7 CPU tested
Crave We tested both SLI and Crossfire setups on our Core i7 test bed and found both worked without trouble, requiring nothing more than installing the hardware and appropriate graphics-driver software as you would normally.

A Letter from Linuxland -- Part 2
Crave In part 1 of his letter from LinuxLand, Rupert explained why he decided to leave a lifetime of Windows and hop onto the penguin bus. I was ready to Ubuntuise, but Windows had one final goodbye insult -- it can't burn a bootable CD.

Crave Summer: Waterproof TVs, perfect for June in Britain
Crave After all, installing a TV outside is a foolish endeavour and will almost certainly end with an expensive puff of smoke and the death of nearby people. If you love the outdoors and love watching TV you'll inevitably be struck by how incompatible...

Channel 4's 4oD: TV on demand, at a price
Crave Installing the application was simple enough: the program makes sure that you have the latest software, and where required will help by updating anything that is out of date, such as Windows Media Player or your .NET libraries.

Photos: LG Netbook X110, free with a Phones4U contract?
Crave This sets it apart from the competition, but we can't imagine anyone installing a netbook in their car. As much as we love netbooks, it's difficult not to be cynical when we see a new one arrive in the UK.

HP TouchSmart: Touch-sensitive kitchen computer
Crave There's no word about whether it's able to resist the almost inevitable steam and smoke assault the average kitchen will throw at it, but HP has cleverly integrated a dock at the rear for installing a tiny photo printer -- really a very nice touch.

Edimax IC-7000 IP camera: To catch a juddery thief
Crave Installing the thing is like performing open-heart surgery -- the software is buggy, crash-prone and downright unfriendly. IP Web cameras are great. Crave once used one to catch a cleaner who habitually left prank messages on our Dictaphone.

Tablets: still hard to swallow?
Crave Installing Photoshop and taking this Compaq on the road as a sketchbook is the one truly ingenious use we can think of for it. We've always been strangely attracted to Tablet PCs -- perhaps from some dim memory of our childhood Etch-a-Sketch.

Behringer Podcastudio: USB podcast kit for the masses
Crave In the end, we resorted to ramming all the pole-shaped things into the hole-shaped doohickies, installing the drivers and pushing all the icons in the Audacity software until something worked. Fact: we know a thing or two about making podcasts.

Photos: Popcorn Hour A-100 does media streaming right
Crave Installing a hard drive is no bother at all: the top of the A-100 is secured by thumbscrews and an IDE drive will simply slide into the built-in connector, and is secured by screws on the underside of the machine.

Opera Mobile 9.5 beta hands-on
Crave Installing the application on a memory card may be rocky, so make sure you've got room for the 4.2MB requirement. Long overshadowed by Opera Mini -- the light, server-fed browser for Java phones -- Opera Mobile is a robust browser built on Web...
