Google's new street-level map feature allows people to zoom in to see buildings and street signs in San Francisco and several other locations in the US.
This shot shows the front of News.com reporter Elinor Mills' former San Francisco dwelling, complete with a street address and shoes dangling from the telephone lines. For privacy reasons, CNET News.com has obscured the number of the residence from the front of the building, as well as from the search bar.
This shot shows a closeup of Mills' former apartment building, zooming into the front window. Visible are the pillows in the window seats, where the former resident's cats used to bask in the sun.
