Interesting experiment in dynamic software distribution

What I like: Simplifies the process of updating a bunch of useful applications which I've come to depend on, including Google Desktop Search and Firefox. Has also introduced me to some fun new applications I didn't know about, such as the Google Screensaver and Picasa.
What I don't like: Because the software updates these applications dynamically, it's a shock the first time you see a new application or an update to an app that you didn't actually request.
