What happened to the forums?
The short version: they've gone, but you can talk to us on Facebook and Twitter instead.
The long version
Hello there, and welcome to the all-new CNET UK. If you've arrived here looking for our forums, we have good news -- they've been replaced with something much better.
Forums have been part of CNET UK since the site launched way back in 2005. Many of you have used them to get help and advice on a range of tech issues, as well as have a good old chat to the editorial team and each other.
But over the last couple of years you've increasingly chosen to use Facebook and Twitter to communicate. You've told us that you'd rather we used those platforms than carry on maintaining a proprietary forum on our own site.
So for some time we've been building up our presence on the most popular social networks, and we're now ready to make the switch for good. There are now two main ways you can reach us and other users of CNET UK:
- Become a fan of the CNET UK page on Facebook. Our wall is full of lively, fun and useful discussion along with plenty of behind the scenes titbits and photos.
- Follow CNET UK on Twitter. You'll be notified of all our new articles as they're published, see exclusive nuggets of info and contact us by tweeting @cnetuk.
Other ways you can keep up to date with CNET UK include:
- Signing up to a newsletter. The weekly Crave and reviews round-up newsletters will keep you up to date with anything you've missed.
- Subscribing to one of our RSS feeds. You can choose to view all our content, or just the feeds that cover specific subjects, such as mobile phone news, laptop reviews or Car Tech.
Thanks for visiting and let us know what you think of the site on our Facebook wall.
