The CNET UK Team

Jason Jenkins

Jason Jenkins

Editor

Jason Jenkins first got into technology in the 80s, spending hours bashing the rubber keys on his beloved Sinclair Spectrum to oblivion in Daley Thompson's Decathlon. He has been writing about technology since 1999 and has tested virtually every technology product under the sun in the process, from hi-def TVs to mobile phones and MP3 players, via talking monkey heads and singing robots. He was once thrown out of Regent's Park for testing the very first Segway to arrive in the UK, which was a shame as he was having the time of his life. If you look hard enough, you might see him pop up in a newspaper, on telly or on the radio, sounding off on the latest techie news stories.

Rich Trenholm

Rich Trenholm

Crave Editor

Rich discovered photography on a work-experience course and hasn't looked back since -- or at least not since the digital age removed all the hard work. When he's not writing about cameras and other technology, he's busy seeing how many Firefox extensions he can fit on his MacBook before it starts to cry, or sorting his comic collection into alphabetical order. You may also find him spilling beer on his shoes at grotty gigs, and wondering if now would be a good time to write that screenplay. In the time it has taken you to read this, Rich has posted to Twitter at least three times.

Luke Westaway

Luke Westaway

Crave Editor

Luke got his first tech thrill at the tender age of 7, poring over gadget magazines and dreaming of the day when he could afford to buy all the shiny things he could ever want. That day still hasn't come, but at least now he gets to spend all day playing with technology. All grown up, Luke began his writing career as a games journalist -- tracking down the latest releases for leading gaming sites and testing them until his thumbs couldn't take it anymore. Now successfully re-homed at CNET Towers, Luke can usually be found passing a critical eye over the latest products. Addicted to Twitter and oddly enthusiastic about breakfast cereals, buy Luke a pint and he'll talk to you about dinosaurs.

Nick Hide

Nick Hide

Managing Editor

Nick manages the sub-editing of the site, and commissions features for CNET's great How To section. If you'd like us to cover anything in this section, please drop him an email or a message on Twitter. Most of his day is spent happily subbing Crave, which mainly involves adding links to YouTube videos of classic rock tracks and awesome 80s cartoons. When he was fresh out of subbing school, Nick edited listings for the Radio Times, where he lived in mortal fear of misspelling the title of the popular food show Ainsley's Big Cook Out.

Andrew Hoyle

Andrew Hoyle

Senior Staff Writer

Andrew has always been fascinated by tech. When he wasn't in school learning to count, he was at home, poring over the latest gadgets in the Argos catalogue and taking apart dictation machines. Nowadays Andrew can be found in the CNET UK barracks, debating the merits of undersized laptops and eating his stash of home-cooked food. You may also see Andrew with his guitar in hand, or perhaps sliding down a mountain on a board. Not at the same time of course, he's only human. We think.

Katie Collins

Katie Collins

Production Assistant

Katie spent much of her childhood building crystal radios and fixing old TVs with soldering irons, hobbies which blossomed into lifelong love affairs with tech, the Today Programme and melting things, mainly in fondue pots. When she is not fiddling with CNET UK making the site look pretty and posting to more social networks than you can count on one hand, you'll probably find her curled up somewhere with her Kindle or plotting her next big travel adventure. Katie will never say no to a dare, particularly if it involves diving down snowy ravines or eating humongous quantities of cake.
